US Apple stores have started selling iPhone 4S since 8 AM this morning. As expected people have been in line at many stores around the country since yesterday. MacRumors reported over a 100 people in line at Apple’s Shibuya store 11 hours before launch time and a 100 people in line at the Paris store. Additionally, Verizon, Sprint, AT&T store will also carry iPhone 4S today. Target, Walmart, Best Buy, Radio Shack and Sam’s Club are also expected to carry some. NBC11 reports that Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, showed up at his local Apple store on Thursday and said he would wait there overnight, although he had two phones coming to his house.
BuisnessWeek yesterday reported that iPhone 4S was sold out on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint online stores. They are offering shipping times of 3 to 4 weeks up from 1 to 2 days.
