The latest in the string of iPhone accessories is the Iris 9000 – a voice control module to control Siri from across the room. Place the iPhone 4S in the Iris cradle and tap the remote control to trigger Siri. The built-in microphone picks up your voice from 50 ft away and amplifies Siri’s responses. And of course, you can also use it as a speaker phone. In other words, we might be on the way to cut out some personal assistant jobs with this new accessory, except Siri can’t do a coffee run. On the plus side, you will get to hear Siri’s quirky responses 😛
Iris 9000 (that’s Siri spelt backwards) is expected to release in Spring 2012 for $59.99. If you are interested you can register with ThinkGeek today.
