Samsung mocking and taking cues from Apple?

Apple and Samsung have been at each others throat with regards to patent infringement in various countries trying to get each other’s product banned. Samsung recently has been mocking with its Galaxy S II smart phone ads. The latest in Samsung’s attempts had been to position itself very close to Apple’s iPad. Samsung’s Korean ad imitates Apple’s iPad ad philosophy much too well. Check it out!

Lady Gaga in a new Chrome ad!

It’s a Google ad, but it has Lady Gaga. So I’m going to forget the Apple Google war for just this one post 😀

The Mother Monster illustrates the power of the web through this 90 sec ad. I like it. What about you?

Verizon iPhone Ad!

Check out the Verizon iPhone ad! After a long wait Verizon customers can finally get their hands on the Apple iPhone starting February 20, 2011. Any thoughts on Verizon iPhone subscriptions squashing Verizon Android sales? 😀

Looks like Apple released its own ad stating that two is better than one. I like the features vary by  carrier disclaimer 🙂

Don’t hold your breathe AppleGirl, the iPhone 4 doesn’t support the Verizon’s LTE network. However, there are quite a number of Android phones like the HTC ThunderBolt and the Motorola Bionic which will take advantage of it. With phones like those, I think Android will be squashing the iPhone sales 🙂

Update: Looks like there’s already a spoof out there. It’s hilarious, check it out!

T-mobile takes a jab at AT&T!

The new T-mobile myTouch 4G commercial is just to funny to pass up. I’ve been saying this ALL along! Who wants to FaceTime on Wifi “from the aiport”. Reality check, you can video chat with the myTouch 4G on T-mobile’s 4G network.  Forget AT&T and the iPhone :)! By the way, Wirefly is offering the phone for only $79.99!

What’s with these mudslinging ads these days? T-Mobile claims 4G speeds on a HSPA+ network, but AT&T calls them out for claiming 4G speeds (according to them, HSPA isn’t really 4G (LTE, WiMaX)).  With the definition of 4G up in the air, what’s funny is that the brawl went down on Facebook. Sprint did not want to be the quiet dog in the room. So Sprint President Matt Carter claimed saying“Halloween is over–it’s time for T-Mobile to stop dressing up like their favorite super hero–Sprint 4G.”

GoogleChic, I hope you noticed the real culprit here. Yes! They are actually fighting over the iPhone and the customer base that it comes with. Not T-Mobile’s MyTouch 4G or Sprint’s Evo 4G 🙂

GoogleChic, doesn’t MyTouch 4G use Qik to make video calls? Here’s your reality check: Qik is available on the iPhone as well. So there you go, iPhone has the seamless, awesome user experience Facetime to use on Wifi and Qik/Fring to use over 3G. If you still have any doubts about the best phone for video calling, you should leave those behind. Because iPhone has the best of both worlds.
